Tour Update 2007
Look Up,
Look Up, Look Up
LUK 21:28
And when these things begin
to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your
redemption draweth nigh.
It has been a long time since I have had a
moment in which to sit down and ponder the past few months. This year
started with our Friends and church Family in Metaline
Falls. We had a wondrous time with salvation and baptisms of the
Spirit. But the close relationship and bonds that God began this year
with this church family is what has been burning in our hearts. We
have always believed that we don’t come to stir up and leave, but to
stir up and become a part of your lives.
I believe that in some ways we are finding
ourselves in pastoral roles more than before. We are finding those whom
we have allowed ourselves to become close to are becoming disciples and
partners in this ministry. But then, that is exactly what Jesus Did.
His disciples became family, they lived
together, ministered, walked, prayed, sharpened and became closer than a
brother in the end. True ministries are being raised up in these days
and learning how to partner up and use each others gifts and
relationships to further His kingdom.
The powers of darkness are becoming very
strong and vengeful and we must conquer the enemy through teaming up and
allowing our weaknesses to fall with our foolish pride so that the
dunamis power of Christ within will begin to gain strength, not in
single handed ministry, but in greater numbers as we work together.
JUST
IGNORE !
This is more deeply imbedded in our hearts
today after a very stressful and extreme near disaster in our own
midst. Just a week prior to this very eventful day, I had some very
disturbing health issues that almost caused me to have my husband take
me to E.R. But I am a very stubborn person and I kept praying the
healing word of God, As the pain grew more
intense I found that I could not keep the pain from crossing my face.
Soon several others gathered around me and began to pray. The pain did
not cease, but I still chose to minister during that evening. What was
awesome was the Power of God. “In my weakness He is My Strength!” I
felt absolutely no pain during ministry. After ministry the pain
regained momentum, but I still chose to stay strong in the Lord. He
gave me a word….I responded by doing as I was told. The pain continued
for days and each day got less and less. But I am now watching my food
intake and making sure I get plenty of Sleep. This also lines up with
God’s word
THERE SHE BLOWS!
This led up to our departure on Monday
from Florida. We arose to a broken windshield wiper arm
that could not be fixed, because the part had to be ordered to the tune
of $480.00, we chose not to fix it as that
was bit steep and we are praying for little or no rain and a place to
purchase elsewhere cheaper.
Oh but that was only
the beginning.
We had only been on the road for
approximately 2 hours, the temperature at 89 degrees and the humidity at
95 percent, when the loudest gunshot we had ever heard pierced our
ears. Larry with his quick response just looked in the side mirror in
time to see our wheel-well flying in the air across the freeway and our
tire on the trailer completely blown to pieces. He managed to bring us
to a safe stop and as we got out of the rig he ran back to get our
fende, that the
oncoming cars were swerving to miss. As I began to look at our
situation we discovered a nice gapping hole in the trailer from the
blowout. Now if that was the end of our story,
That would have been wonderful….but of course that was not the
case. As we began to get our tools out we discovered that we had no
cross wrench and the tire wrench in the truck would not work on the
trailer…..GREAT! But God always has a plan….Across the freeway was a
young man washing his truck. Larry crossed the freeway and talked to the
young man and he looked and had no cross wrench either…while He was over
there, the State Game Sheriff stopped to see if he could help…he also
had no wrench…in fact he had NO WRENCH at all. You could tell he was
frustrated….meanwhile the young man jumped into his truck drove to his
dads and came back with a wrench and helped us out.
Was this the end…..of
course not. Within an
hour of the first blow-out the second tire on the tire blew and we had
no spare, and no wrench. I made the choice to sit inside the trailer
and journal, (and pray) while Larry went in search of a tire shop to
replace the 1st blowout. After replacing that tire we
stopped and got the second one replaced and headed down the road. We
lost 5 and half hours in tire problems. The longest day we have ever
spent and the least amount of miles driven in our travels ever. But we
were still safe and sound.
PRAYER HELPS
Why did I share this.
Upon the first blow-out I immediately made 5-7 phone calls and said we
need prayer cover from now until we get home.
That is part of the partnering that I am finding extremely needed in
these days. We are in a war and we are in need of each other.
I was blessed by the response by those we love and we can feel the
power. Thank you so much. In every situation if we will look up,
listen and then respond to the Lord, we will find our help in every
situation. In the past, we have always stopped and prayed ourselves,
just figuring we were covered, this time was
different. There was urgency in my spirit to include those we loved and
felt were able to cover us in prayer. If you were not notified and felt
you would like to be a part of this….would you please call or email us
and make sure your phone number is in our phone so that you can be added
to our emergency calls. We need you. What would help is if it is
someone who is responsible for accurately getting information out to
prayer chains.
Re-capture
February
Oregon was a great time of
Cowboy Churches, Pointman, Ladies retreats and churches. We had 5
salvations during this time and many restoration stories of His healing
power and encouragement. We also worked extremely hard on getting phone
calls made, printing brochures and working on music for our CD.
March
We had one incredible week at the
beginning that we both ministered and did an outreach with 3 other
churches and ministries in a Mexican Restaurant to both bless and help
bring business to. What a night! Especially when together our voices
rang together worshiping Jesus in the midst of busy restaurant and
Bar. God is Awesome!
Continuing on in Oregon, we
had the marvelous time of working with our friends in Oregon and
re-kindling time with ministries that we had not been a part of since
Mark and Becky went over-seas. In fact in one of the services….they all
dressed up in Cowboy clothes in honor of the style of music that I do on
occasion. I was a bit awestruck.
Our Ladies Retreat in the mountains will
be one of those memories that we have a hard time forgetting as we
became a floating boat in the midst of several feet of snow and slush.
But the fruit was awesome as the ladies found a deeper relationship with
our Lord and Savior.
Our last service in Oregon
did bring about a rather intense time of God’s miraculous power during
and very strong onslaught of an intrusion of Darkness trying to ruin and
meeting. Those whom were there to hinder His work were rather miffed
at the power of One so Faithful, Our Lord and Savior. Many were
dropped to their knees and others left, still unbelieving that God could
and will make change in the lives of His People.
We ended our Month in
Cody ,Wyoming! What a time we had. We
enjoyed our friends in Cowboy church and new family in Powel. Praise
God for Pastor Kay. She is really on fire for Jesus and the church is
moving up.
Then we headed towards South
Dakota.! Each night was a experience with
new adventures and delights as God fell in each service. But this was
hard for us. God broke our hearts for one little boy and his family.
We still continue to pray and believe for the miracle they need. As we
got ready to depart and head out we had a huge snow storm. Dumping
about 15 inches of snow and no snow tires or good tires to boot, we
began to call the road departments for traveling conditions. We got
boxed in. Every road we had chosen to go down was closed including
Interstate 90 which was the main road to where we needed to go.
We phoned ahead to Colorado
and stated we may not make our service. Unbelieving, Mark began
to suggest different routs all of which were
closed. “Yup, you’re boxed in! Keep me posted.”
We waited until 1:30 and
took our chances. After getting our truck and trailer stuck twice we
were on our way. As we got To Gillette, Wyoming (this route had been
shut down 1 hour prior to our leaving) we decided to try hwy 59. We
stopped as asked and would you believe, they had just opened the route
up only 1 hour prior to that. We did make it to our service and
Wow…Cowboy church at its best. This
church got on fire. They took “The Wave” to an all time
High. The pastor was still in tears as he began to share what he knew
and how God had moved through his people. He was still in awe

April
Well believe it or not….we finally made it
to Florida. We knew we were supposed to be here,.
But my-oh-my! The enemy did not like it…..Could be why we had so much
trouble getting out!
We spent 2 weeks at the
Jesus Is Ministries, both
helping and ministering to the Re-hab.
We did ministry at the Give-away the first week-end and the second
week-end we did ministry at the Fund-raiser in front of
Walmart and the music reached clear to the
store and the fruit-stand. The response was grand and people were
drawn in and all of the workers had much opportunity to lay hands on an
pray
Larry lead 3
men to the Lord on there first 2 days of the program. We have
discovered if you spend time with them quickly when they are vulnerable
to the Spirit they come into the Kingdom quickly and their lives are
wide open to all that God has for them.
Finding
God’s Beauty in All Things
We found ourselves once again spending
much time mentoring those we have been a part of during their conversion
and spiritual growth. When we were not ministering during worship time
we had many gathering together with questions about the word of God and
just one on one ministry. The fruit is very evident this year.
May
Then we spent time this year doing as much
single mentoring as we did ministering in the church. Our last week was
spent at Riverside Fellowship Church and The Good Spirit
Foundation. Larry spent much time building on campus, while
us ladies put together music for the Friday
and Saturday night opening of the new building and campus.
SOME OF
LARRY’S CARPENTRY
WORK (STAGE)
We had a great time, but our highlight
again was our Saturday night at Harley’s. All his friends came for a
night of food, fellowship and music. The gospel of Jesus came forth and
Harley and Pat shared their hearts how since we left the last time,
miracles had blessed their farm and their lives. Each time we have been
their they advance further into the
Kingdom of God.
